Dawson County Middle School PBIS Behavior Matrix
At Dawson County Middle School, we are committed to creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. Our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Behavior Matrix provides clear expectations for student behavior in every area of the school. Centered around our three core expectations—Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready—the matrix helps students understand what positive behavior looks like in the classroom, hallways, cafeteria, restroom, gym, on the bus, and during parent pick-up.
By explicitly teaching, modeling, and reinforcing these expectations, we promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and readiness that supports academic achievement and positive relationships. The PBIS Behavior Matrix is more than a guide for behavior—it reflects our shared commitment to ensuring every Tiger has the opportunity to learn, lead, and succeed every day.
